Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion offers loving care in a warm and homelike environment. This is our residents' home, and we encourage everyone to look at it that way. It's often the little things that make the difference, such as encouraging families and residents to personalize their rooms with familiar belongs-from furniture to photographs-so they feel more comfortable and at home.

Administrator Pam Ingold has been serving the residents of Willow Crest for more than 17 years, enabling us to be much more than a typical nursing home or rehabilitation center. Willow Crest's Director of Nursing has been serving the needs of individuals for 12 years. Several nurses have more than 20 years of service, and the rehabilitation director has been part of the care team since 1988. Our residents enjoy seeing the same faces, and they appreciate the continuity of care. It's like one big family; we are all very close.

With more than 50 activities each month, residents stay active and engaged. A typical day for a resident at Willow Crest, according to Carol Evans, Director of Activities, is not "typical" at all. Carol and her team of aides are very involved with each of the residents. They plan and carry out many wonderful activities every day and well into the evening. Our goal is to keep the residents motivated and active; there is always something for everyone.
Residents gather together to make crafts, watch movies, sing, and play social games. The activities calendar also presents a variety of physical activities including exercise classes, volleyball, basketball, and bowling. Residents participate in Bible studies, Church services and in monthly Resident Council meetings.
A comfortable customized van is available to take residents shopping, to the movies, to various Chicagoland attractions, and out for country drives. Short scenic drives are especially popular around the holidays and when the seasons change.
