Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion Ltd. is located on a quiet, tree-lined road in friendly Sandwich, IL. Sandwich is a safe, close-knit town, and Willow Crest fosters strong ties to the community.
Willow Crest is well known for hosting many events throughout the year that include the entire community. Our relationship with area children is especially wonderful and active all year round. In the spring, for example, we have the Easter Walk, where more than 200 children visit the facility with their Easter baskets ready for candy, and to greet and visit the residents. Throughout the year local students enjoy painting our windows for each holiday season.
In the fall Willow Crest hosts the Back to School Fun Fair on our front lawn. The fair is a fun-packed event with games, rides, crowds of people enjoying hot dogs and snow cones, prizes, and even a petting zoo. Everyone loves seeing the children who come to visit.
Our residents especially look forward to attending the famous Sandwich Fair. At the fair, residents participate in many events such as eating fresh farm foods, shopping for antiques, viewing livestock shows, and enjoying the carnival.
Events like these help build an enduring bridge between Willow Crest and the community.
